Heraldry of the City of London and its Livery Companies
4 April 2017 at 7.30pm, Charterhouse, Charterhouse Square EC1M 6AN

The evening will be a light hearted romp through some of the quirks and foibles of corporate heraldry in the City of London. Freemen, Liverymen and guests are welcome to attend. There is a modest ticket price (£14.99) which will raise funds for Charterhouse. Seats are rather limited as the Brothers residing in Charterhouse will be joining us. There will be a cash bar after the presentation for those who wish to stay on and mingle.

Reflections as the Lord Mayor of London

This year, the esteemed speaker is Sir Roger Gifford, 685th Lord Mayor of London, Chairman of the City of London Green Finance Initiative and a passionate supporter of music and the arts. The theme for Sir Roger’s Reflections is “Whisky Galore at the Mansion House”. Prior to his Reflections, Dato’ Dr. Kah-Ming Ng, celebrated musical director of the Baroque ensemble Charivari Agréable. will perform and will share with us his journey as our 2017 Diversity Champion.
 
All profits from the Reflections of The Lord Mayor event go to the charities nominated by our Reflections speaker when he was Lord Mayor – City Music Foundation, Gifford Wood, MHSS, Mayor’s Fund for Young Musicians, Sir John Cass’s Foundation, and Future for Kids – with funds from the evening going to the Lord Mayor’s Appeal Charity.  The website where you can find more information is:
