Drapers' Hall

The Livery Corridor

This corridor, linking the Livery Hall with the Drawing Room, forms part of Thomas Graham Jackson’s alterations of 1898-9. The oak panelling dated 1899 was carved by I.Carter with representations of the trades connected with the drapers' craft.

At the end of the corridor the stained glass window contains the coat of arms of the three Princes and one Princess granted the freedom of the Company, with the date of admission:- Prince William of Orange (later King William III), Prince Carl of Denmark (King Haakon of Norway), Prince Albert (King George VI) and Princess Elizabeth, now Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
