The Wardens’ Room was converted from two late 17th century counting houses into a sitting room in 1844. Today it is used as a meeting room.
The design for a Drapers’ state barge by Richard Roberts, signed, inscribed and dated November 1780, hangs in the room.
Other paintings include Norman Hepple’s conversation piece of a Court of Wardens meeting (1953) and Andrew Festing’s portrait of Chairmen of the Council of Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London, and its predecessor institutions, 1897 – 1995 who were all Drapers (1996).
