5 July - 650th Fayre
The Company held a Summer Fayre at Drapers' Hall on the 4th and 5th July 2014  to celebrate its 650th anniversary.  It proved to be a superb occasion marking what it means to be a Draper in this 650th year.

Some 900 visitors came and were treated to continuous Jazz in the Dining Room, a Company history display in the Court Room, an exhibition in the Livery Hall of Company activities by 29 representatives from affiliated Armed Services to schools and universities, an art exhibition from 16 members of the Company in the Drawing Room and a new chandelier that had just been installed in the Livery Hall Corridor.  The Barge was on display outside the Hall on Throgmorton Avenue, while the Welsh Guards and the Taiko Drummers from Thomas Adams School, Wem, demonstrated their extraordinary musical skills (this can be seen on You Tube). www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0vZa2hMw0o.
