  • Are you having real difficulty in finding the money to pursue a special need in education or training?

If so, we may be able to help ...
When there is real financial need, the Governors of Sir William Boreman’s Foundation can consider applications from or on behalf of children and young persons (aged under 25) with a variety of educational costs which cannot be met by Local Education Authorities.

For example:

  • School uniforms
  • Travel to and from school or college
  • Tools, books or musical instruments for students or apprentices
  • College fees or expenses where L.E.A. grant is not available
  • Fees or expenses at independent school or boarding school, where there are special reasons
  • Further education expenses
  • Participation in school excursions of an educational kind
