Objects: The encouragement of scholastic, sporting and other achievement by the pupils of Howells School, Denbigh through the provision of prizes, and certain specific objects for the three restricted funds therein.
Origin: The Charity was established in September 1993 from donations totalling £500. Further prize funds were consolidated into the Fund over the next few years to provide 20 prizes to be awarded for specific subjects or achievements in accordance with the wishes of the original donors. Selection of the prize winners is delegated to the Academic Principal of Howells School, Denbigh. On 31st July 2002, three separate award funds were transferred into the Trust, the capital of which to be held to produce income for application in accordance with each funds restrictions.
Policy: The income of the prize fund is applied as detailed above.
