Richly decorated and visually dramatic, the Court Dining Room is often hired with the Drawing Room as the perfect companion room, providing an impressive setting for greeting guests and serving pre-event drinks.
Independently up to 120 guests can be served at a cocktail party; 100 at a buffet event; and 96 at a lunch or dinner. Boardroom-style meetings can be arranged for up to 50 participants, or up to 100 theatre-style. Both the Court Dining Room and the Drawing Room are ideal as syndicate rooms in conjunction with the Livery Hall.
The Court Dining Room is the oldest room at Drapers’ Hall, dating back in part to the late 1660s. Overlooking the historic garden, the room was renovated in 1869 when the ceiling painting of Jason and the Golden Fleece by Felix-Joseph Barrias was added.
Above the chimneypiece hangs an impressive full-length portrait of the Queen, painted by Sergei Pavlenko to celebrate the monarch’s 50th anniversary of becoming a Freeman.
You will also have complimentary use of our beautifully manicured and historic garden and courtyard, providing outdoor space that is rarely available in the heart of London.
