However large or small your event, one of our function rooms will be the perfect choice for you – and our prices are highly competitive when compared with other central London venues.
The Court Room, Drawing Room and Court Dining Room are ideal for smaller gatherings, while the Livery Hall can seat up to 270 for lunch or dinner; serve up to 350 buffet guests; and accommodate up to 450 for a cocktail party.
Exclusive Use
Our policy is usually to welcome only one party for any lunchtime or evening period, and so during your event, you and your guests will have exclusive use of Drapers’ Hall and the undivided attention of our professional staff.
Garden and Courtyard
When hiring one of our rooms, you will also have use of our beautifully maintained garden and courtyard, providing outdoor space that is rarely available in the heart of London. The garden, first developed in 1874, was most recently redesigned in the 1970s by Stephen Dykes Bower to incorporate the present garden walls, gates and railings.
Mulberry trees have long been grown in the garden, and additional trees were planted by the Queen in 1955, and The Prince of Wales in 1971.
The courtyard was rebuilt in 1869 by Herbert Williams and its central display is a sculpture by Edward Wyon. The arches surrounding the courtyard feature carvings by Wyon representing the themes of commerce, the continents, religion and science.
